Though this foundation has been launched in late 2010,
I haven’t had the chance to try it since i was using my Chanel vitalumiere then.

I’m a MAC NC25. The SA recommended me the PO-03 and the O-03.
Choose the PO over the O as the the PO has a pinkish tone that didn’t make me look so sallow.
Those who are looking to cover their red spots on face should go for the O one.
However, this doesn’t pose much problem to be as I would still use concealer over my problematic areas.

So, radiance over coverage

-Lancome teint miracle in PO-03
-Estee Lauder double wear concealer in light
-Chanel Pressed Powder
-MAC blusher in breathe of plum

It really holds on well! Doesn’t crease even after 12 hours of wearing.
This is definitely staying on my make up desk.

Loving the lancome teint miracle, i’m using it in PO-03.
It definitely gives of a dewy look, FOTD soon if i have a chance!
Not that i’m abandoning my chanel vitalumiere aqua, i’m just keeping it for
light make up days….

oh, i’ve have removed my braces as well!
But its a pain to have to wear retainers…

Kose has always been my HG oil cleanser, this is my third bottle already!
As for concealer wise, chanel’s vitalumiere hasn’t been giving me coverage.
So why not give estee lauder a try! ^^

Ok, back to the collagen cleanser, according to the introduction,

Argh, so pissed! Can’t seem to rotate the picture.
Anyway, its made in japan and suitable for all skin types.
Choose this because it has collagen! Skin feels abit dry these days so,
i thought that this could help.

Anyway, back to my review. This smells really pleasant,
like some kind of apple, fruity fragrance.
One small pea size goes a long way, works up a thick lather.
After washing, my face feels squeaky clean. like eekk eekk.
Will use it more often and see how it goes.
But most likely won’t be getting it again :/

Its easy to go on, but the brush wise, I’d still prefer OPI’s.

Anyway, I foresee that I wouldn’t be using these soon.

Seldom wear eyeshadow these days as well.

My two cents worth on the OS X Lion,
so many raves, cons about it. But i’m glad i got it.
(Retails for US$29.99)

According to the mac store, its has about 250 new features
But the prominent ones to me are:

✚ launchpad
✚ mission control
✚ surfing net in fullscreen mode
✚ ability to relaunch close apps before shut down
✚ Faster boot up time
✚ More organised photobooth
✚ Running parallel desktops
✚ Preview of document in spotlight
✚ Airdrop control

I’m sure all these useful features are enough to buy you over.
However, there are somethings that still needs some
‘getting used too’

-’Natural’ scrolling direction of trackpad.
In the snow leopard, when you scroll up a page, u drag down
Now, when you wanted to scroll up you literally push up.

But no worries! If you’re not used to it, just go to
System preference > trackpad > Scroll & zoom

 Deselect the option of ‘scroll direction: natural’
and viola! the old scrolling direction comes back.

Another thing that I’m really not used to,
although I’ve already close my apps,
if the reopen windows when logging back in is checked,
all your applications that you have quit will still reopen.
Its rather annoying sometimes. Its not literally, oh i shut down in this state,
when i on it, it returns.
It opens the apps that I’ve already closed!!

To solve this, go to System preference > General

Under number of recent items: the minimum you can go is 5.
which means it will open the last 5 things you were doing!!
So, uncheck the ‘restore windows when quitting and reopening apps’
the problem will be solved.

These are the two big issues that i dislike about the new lion.
Maybe it still needs to go through some updates to stabilise it.
Other than that, I really dislike the fact that now my photobooth pictures,
are store in the photobooth pictures folder which i can’t access if i want
to upload the picture to sites like wordpress.
I have to drag and drop them to the desktop.

The photobooth has some cool news templates too.
Like ‘love struck’ where you get hearts around the head.
cute max. I hope this post helps to solve some issues for fellow mac users!

On a sidenote, the download from the app store takes around 45 mins on a 10mbps.
Installation of the lion on the other hand takes around 30 mins.

Recently tried the Ginvera BB cream!
I must admit, i’m not a fan of bb cream but i love trying them,
bio essence, maybelline, TFS, etude house, I’ve tried them all!
So i couldn’t resist getting this as Watson’s was having 20% off.
(U.P. SGD$16.90)

According to the brand, there are so many benefits to it!
♥ Moisturises & nourishes
♥ Brightening & even out skin tone
♥ Protection against harmful UV rays
♥ SPF30 PA++

It claims to have green tea in it, but I don’t really smell it,
smell is a great factor for me when it comes to deciding what product to use.
Weird smell really stops me from using products,
but this smells rather pleasant.

 This was after close to 12 hours of wear,
the coverage is pretty good, what i have on is merely
-Ginvera BB cream
-Ettusais pressed powder
-Shu Uemura Blusher in peach 44

However, this is not really suitable for long wear,
cause it makes the face kinda oily after sometime.
But its good for my dry skin. moisturises it and stops flakiness!
Just have to take the effort to blot.
In my opinion, its really a great bb cream to bring for short trips.
sunblock + good coverage + moisturising
Price is a positive point, you won’t be afraid of losing it.
I must emphasis, although what comes out of the tube looks
dull and dark colour, it actually lightens up when applied to the face!

Here’s my collection of body lotion:

From left: Nivea night whitening body milk 400ml
Vaseline healthy white SPF24 triple lightening lotion 350 ml
Vaseline total moisture 200ml

The lastest addition being the middle one,
As it claims to have a triple whitening effect spf24
with UVA and UVB protection lotion for fair and even toned skin.
and it moisturises too! Sounds like a good deal.
Comes in 350ml and 200ml bottles.
Retails for $9.70 for the 350ml at watsons.

I’ve tried before applying sunscreen on my body before i head out.
but after i shower, i will still feel the sunscreen on my skin.
So, i stopped using sunscreen until i found this.
It goes on fairly easily, and its quickly absorbed into the skin.
However, when it comes in contact with water,
you’d feel like there’s soap on your skin.
Well, i guess it is because of the moisturising factor.
It also contains vitamin B3 to give some love to your skin.

This is good if you’re looking for a moisturiser with SPF to use in the day.
It is value for money and easy to use.
The only cons i can think of is probably the nozzle,
once you open, you cannot turn it to off. so you must accidentally press on it.

All three of them are manufactured in thailand,
and have shelf life of 30 months.
I used the healthy white in the day,
night whitening body milk at night,
total moisture when my skin is really dry,

1) Plug in your iphone and connect to itunes

2) In your itunes, select a song (have a back up copy on your desktop to be safe)
I have selected Lady Gaga’s ‘The edge of glory’

3) Right click on file and go to get info

4) Under get info, in the options tab, there is a start time and stop time,
simply select which portion of the song you want.
(note: do not put 1.02 as time if 1 is your minute, use 1:02)
and select ok. When you double click on song to play,
it should be playing only the portion that you have indicated.

5) Right click on file in tunes again and select create AAC version.
This version, under the timing section you can see how long it is.

6) drag and drop the file to your desktop / ringtones folder,
delete it from your itunes


7) Change file extension from m4a to m4r
If you double click on the file, it will be imported into your itunes,
i don’t do that because i don’t want the file to be playing,
when i’m shuffling my itunes playlist

8) Sync your iphone with the ringtones you want.
Itunes detects the m4r files as ringtones.

9) In your iphone, under settings, ringtones.
you can select your personal ringtone now!

but i seldom put on falsies these days,
today i’m gonna try out a au natural look, with just,
foundation and falsies.

very natural looking, shall try out whether its easy to use
and do a proper review soon

So i have worn the lashes for a mere 5 hours.
The lashes are really easy to wear because the lashbone
is really soft, so it fits nicely however you shape them to be.

They look really natural! and for the glue wise,
its really tacky but easy to remove when you need to remove it.
Its good!
